Discovery

The discovery phase includes information exchange and research. We discuss and assess your current campaigns & content. Understand competitive landscape, benchmarks, goals, objectives and target audience to uncover opportunities which become the basis of the experience.  Understanding the key concept/goals when developing experiences for our clients will help our team be able to create the best experience and reflect within your report these details.

Wireframe

An interactive wireframe is created to show functionality, look and feel in action, allowing customers to provide early feedback. Types of revisions and feedback desired at this stage of the project could include:
  • Changes to layout or page structure. This can only be up to 10% if using an Expert Quick Start template.
  • Changes to animations, how content loads or flows within an experience.
  • Minor updates to logic functionality.
  • If there are any changes at all to an experience’s overall structural layout or function, this is the stage to share that feedback, in order to stay in scope and within project timeline - design and layout changes after the wireframe will require a change order to be scoped out separately with a new timeline to launch.
  • All feedback needs to be consolidated. This includes requested iconography/imagery and any updates to be made prior to the build phase.

Design

Finally, the design phase is carried out bringing the interactive content to life. Types of revisions and feedback desired at this stage of the project could include:

QA & Launch

Part of the ion process is fulfilling final QA and launch of your experience
  • We require 24 hour notice before launching;
  • As a best practice, we do not launch on Fridays.

There are key details our team needs in order complete this step and include:

  • Final URL;
  • Integration set up/test lead confirmed;
  • Is there a specific campaign location in your console where this belongs?;
  • If embedded, on which URL will the ion experience live?

ion Creative Services routine

Working from home

Always leave a WFH note when working from home. Additionally, always register the time you start work, your lunch break, the end of your lunch break, and the time you finish your working day. All this information must be sent to the #creative-services group in Slack. You are allowed to work from home for up to 2 days per week without the need to previously notify your leader. In case you need more days, please inform the team and your leader, Stephanie; also, follow the WFH rules.

Stand-up

From Monday to Thursday, at 11am (Miami - GMT-4), the team members need to list what they have done and what they intend to accomplish by the end of the day. This list should be published to the #creative-services group in Slack, so the one responsible for the time management on LiquidPlanner gets a better sense of how to distribute the tasks. On Fridays, at 11:45 am (Miami - GMT-4), Stand-up is conducted in a meeting with the CS team, to ensure the alignment between the teams.

Time management

Fill in the blanks of each task on LiquidPlanner with the amount of time you have invested in that project. Always keep track of the time spent on each activity and register your daily routine there by specifying the tasks.

1:1's

This meeting is held directly with the manager. It is useful to promote an alignment between the leader and the team members. It is also relevant for setting expectations and exchanging feedback. This meeting is an open space for dialogue with the leader.

Happy Coffee Morning

Team meeting (max. 30 min) for integration, held via Hangouts on Monday mornings.

"No meetings" day

Once a month we have this scheduled event dedicated to complete all tasks, which means that you are allowed to deny all possible meetings. Participation is optional, but it is beneficial to those who need to progress on their projects without any meetings that may interrupt this progress.

Kick-off

Meetings to introduce new delivery cycles—such as a new Q—for the team. They are held every 3 months (quarterly) with the entire company's participation. Similarly, each team has its own kick-off meeting, which is when the leaders share the achieved goals, the progress of the projects, and plans for the future.
